Mentos - National Night
With Singapore's birth rate in a sharp tailspin, we decided to apply fresh-maker logic to a real problem and turn the nation's birthday into a mating call.
Big SHOUT OUT to Mentos singapore and Fuse for the amazing beat and patience to deal us.
Writing a rap to save a small country - one more life goal checked off the list. Bing!

Chupa Chups present Scream Stoppers!
With the scariest night of the year hot on our heels, we decided rather than create a traditional Halloween ATL campaign, we'd instead repurpose the traditional Chupa Chups lollipop as “Scream Stoppers”. A revolutionary new device designed to stop screamers from emitting humiliating vocal emissions.
In the run up to Halloween, we distributed thousands of Scream Stoppers where they were needed them most - Horror movie screenings. We tied up with singapore's two largest cinema chains to distribute these new packs before the beginning of horrorthons, broadcasting a special public service announcement we made on the fly with special help from our friends at the Mill, Fuse, Kristal Melson, Ryan Rodriguez (actor/ IT Guy) Joanna Yeo (our scream starlette) and the interns from the BBH BARN Singapore!

Follow your Jeans!
Our latest campaign for Levi's follows a buch of guys trying to make it in America, as we recount each moment of their story through their pants.
Shot on the road with Ben Sullivan on the fringes of California, with the our stunt/actor/talents Eddie, Gavin and Chelsea. We circled townships for 4 days setting up various activities, from freight cart surfing in semi-abandoned Barstowe strip malls, to fish gutting in the Kernville Rapids, to 'rocking out' on the top of Motel Isabella, to collect an series of scuffs, stains and smells that would be eventually digitized and translated into large format maps by Kristal Melson & Avant Works. All in 3 months!
Check out the google mapped jeans here.

Peace, Love & Icecream
Ben & Jerry's 2009
It all started in October 2008 when my Creative director approved the proposed layouts as well as my 2-month relocation to a small backroom studio on AnnSiang Hill, where I'd spend the better part of February and March high on paint fumes and on my knees putting together this Ben and Jerry's campaign.
Special thanks to Kelly 'megaMc' Chin, Kimberly 'mega(won)ton' Wong, David Stevanov, Daniel Foo, and Peter Oh for all the love, sweat and joy you brought to the table and my days.

Vampire Weekend in Poland
When Levi's launched their latest 'after dark' collection - a series of dark rinsed and tight cut denim. We ended up in Warsaw with Szymon Roginski, to shoot a bunch of gaunt clobber kids very heavily inspired by Bill Paxton's Role in Katherine Bigalow's Before Dawn and other movies I won't mention.

Economist 'Helicopter'
Sometime ago, Eugene Cheong and I were discussing an idea for a line that he felt needed type setting in a skyscraper looking block-font. After snooping around I found a spectacular example of this done by local design gurus Phunk Studio. Upon presenting this throught to Mr. Cheong, we both decided it was the way to go, and under my breath I murmured something about the poor guy who'd have to illustrate the piece.
Little did I know that person would be me.
Thankfully we only ever changed the copy (and then the kerning) once.

The less than incredible machine
This is a poster I had the privilege of working on with Eric Foenander - the house illustrator at O&M. He doesn't have a site but is a pretty hard target to miss if you find yourself at Blu Jazz having a 'Goodtimes'. It was however originally penciled by Brian Vallesteros who unfortunately due to mysterious circumstances never completed the piece, so Eric took great care in recreating the piece from the ground up.

Singapore Design Festival 2007
When the Design Singapore Council (DSC) approached us to promote their bi-annual design festival, they wanted a campaign that ‘made sense’ of design and spoke to the everyday Singaporean on the street. That is why we decided that to create a campaign that took a very everyday piece of design that singaporeans are incredibly familiar with - the instructional ‘Fine’ signs - and turn them into signs that made them use their lateral ‘design’ faculties of their minds to decipher.
